Sometimes (OK, oftentimes) kids accuse parents of not being cool.
But we have an award to prove we’re cool. As a company dedicated to reinventing the learning experience, we’re pretty proud to be recognized as cool and a trendsetter. Even if our own kids say otherwise at home.
StrongMind a 2019 Cool Tool Winner
We are proud to say that we were the winner of an EdTech Cool Tool in Curriculum and Instruction Solution.
We were also a finalist in four other Cool Tech categories:
- Digital courseware solution
- Language arts solution
- Social studies solution
- Content provider
The EdTech Digest Awards recognizes people in and around education for outstanding contributions in transforming education through technology to enrich the lives of learners everywhere. Now in its 9th year, the US-based program is the largest and most competitive recognition program in all of education technology, recognizing the biggest names in edtech – and those who soon will be.
“Nearly a decade in, The EdTech Awards persists in its salute,” said Victor Rivero, who as Editor-in-Chief of EdTech Digest, oversees the program. “And nearly a decade in, the people driving edtech forward persist in their passion to improve learning. The EdTech Awards 2019 celebrates edtech’s best and brightest all year long; innovators, leaders, and trendsetters who are shaping the future of learning.”
A little about our award-winning curriculum…
Just about any courseware provider can claim it is rigorous and aligned to standards.
But we don’t believe in achieving simply the bare minimum. Actually, our very existence is about reinventing the learning experience. Because we see the vast sea of poor digital curriculum, and we’re determined to make it better. Our curriculum goes beyond alignment to provide a truly engaging experience, with multimedia and interactive like virtual reality, videos, stories and more to ignite the student’s desire to learn.

Damian Creamer a finalist for Trendsetter Award
Among the awards, we were proud to see our CEO and Founder Damian Creamer be selected as a finalist as a Trendsetting Leader.
“It’s a thrill to receive this acknowledgment from EdTech Digest as StrongMind continues to push past today’s requirements and set a new standard in digital curriculum quality, efficacy and engagement,” said Creamer. “Our team of highly skilled, award-winning educators, technologists and creatives is committed to building a better future for education.”
Creamer has been a visionary for education for nearly two decades. Starting with a small, blended learning school in 2001, he found a way to provide a safety net for at-risk youth, to help all receive a quality education and earn their diplomas.
When no quality curriculum or courseware was to found, Creamer founded StrongMind. Decades later, we’re seeing the results. We pour our heart and soul into all we do so that we may provide a high quality digital curriculum to help struggling and high achieving students receive their diplomas and be college and career ready.
